The latest: Like a radio tune I swear I’ve heard before.

What a weird week. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes chez Threewitt, some of which I am contractually prohibited from discussing no matter how much it makes my head spin. New projects are still under wraps, but in the meantime, I can share the following links.

At HowStuffWorks, I took a look at the Ford Robutt seat-testing robot. For U.S. News & World Report, I wrapped up this month’s best sports car deals and luxury car deals, and compared the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry.

The latest: Wake me up when November ends.

Yeah, that subtitle is low-hanging fruit. So be it.

By the time Friday afternoon rolls around, I have a hard time writing these updates. Especially when I haven’t written one for two weeks. I’ve had a lot on my mind lately, and have been toying with the idea of using this space as more than a portfolio, and since I can’t decide I have been avoiding it altogether.

Also, I need to start putting photos on these posts, too, which is harder than it sounds

Yet I must share my work. If you’re looking to lease a new car in November, you can find this month’s best sports car lease deals and best lease deals under $300, both on U.S. News & World Report. U.S. News also has an overview of the cheapest cars with Android Auto and a comparison of the Ford Focus and Chevrolet Cruze.

At HowStuffWorks, you can learn about the data collected in traffic hotspots and why new cars omit the spare tire.

Happy Thanksgiving. I, for one, will not be beer hunting on Black Friday. It’s too cold out there.

The latest

Last week, I launched this site, conducted a head-to-head of Ford and Toyota for U.S. News & World Report, and wrote up a buying guide for certified pre-owned Jeeps, also at U.S. News & World Report.

This week, I took Monday off to catch the eclipse at one of Chicago’s parks, picked up an assignment for a site I’ve been eager to contribute to, and started populating the clips section of this site. Some of my old feature articles and op-eds are a trip. Here’s one worth revisiting: the time I got to review the VW Polo BlueMotion. I didn’t find out until later that VW wasn’t too happy with this piece (though they did grant permission for it). Let’s just say I’ve learned a lot since then.
